CENTRAL CITY – Linda Ann Doss, 76, of Central City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 5:40AM at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Linda was born September 20, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church, where she was active in her Sunday School Class and Women’s Ministry when she was able to attend. Linda loved her family, and especially enjoyed all of her friends she made at Maple Health. She had a simple, innocent, unconditional love for everyone she met. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ella Doss; brothers, Claude “Buddy” Doss, George “Pete” Doss, Elmer Doss, and Emmett “Bud” Doss; and sisters, Donnie Shemwell, Mae Morris, Jean Durall, and Eva Bevil.
She is survived by her brother, Donald (Paula) Doss; sister-in-law, Ava Doss; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2022, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Brian McElwain officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 10:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
