On Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at approximately 7:39 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department responded to River’s Edge Tobacco Outlet at 304 East 4th Street on a report of an armed robbery. The suspect, described as a black male wearing a hoodie, presented a gun before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Detectives are investigating and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
