BEECH CREEK – Phillip Wayne Buchanan, 65, of Beech Creek, died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 8:50AM at Maple Health and Rehab. in Greenville. Mr. Buchanan was born January 6, 1959 in Greenville. He worked as a Laborer for the Salvage Yard and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roudan and Eunice Buchanan; brother, Thomas “Tommy” Buchanan; grandparents, Fannie Defreeze, Henry and Dorothy Buchanan, Mabel and Tobe Ford.
He is survived by his seven siblings, Charlene Johnson, Shirley Dwyer, Brenda Kay Zachery, Carolyn Garrett, Bruce (Lisa) Buchanan, Mable Groves, Chester (Laura) Buchanan; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
