Molly Maglinger, 96, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025. She was born, on June 11, 1928, in Daviess County to the late William “Bill” and Daisy (Taylor) Kirby.
Molly was a devoted member of Ridgewood Baptist Church – the oldest member of the congregation –
who found joy in fishing, reading her Bible, and expressing her creativity through embroidery.
Along with her parents, Molly is preceded in death by her husband, William Martin Maglinger, and her grandson, Stevie Maglinger.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, June Lanham, and her sons, William Maglinger, Jerry (Sherry) Maglinger, and Wayne Maglinger, Sr, and her grandchildren, Derek Maglinger, Aimee (Caleb) Isenberg, and Wayne Maglinger, Jr.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home, with Brother Tony Boyken presiding. Burial to follow at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visitation at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, on June 1, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again at the funeral home on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
