State Sen. Gary Boswell has been named a 2025 Kentucky Family Champion by The Family Foundation of Kentucky, recognizing his support for pro-family policies during this year’s legislative session.

The award is based on the group’s Kentucky Family Legislative Scorecard. According to a release from the foundation, the scorecard “evaluates lawmakers on their voting records, bill sponsorships, and leadership on issues such as protecting life, religious freedom, parental rights, and human dignity.”

“I’m humbled to be recognized as a Kentucky Family Champion,” Boswell said. “This award affirms the importance of standing for life, liberty, and the values that have long guided our communities. I remain committed to protecting Kentucky families and preserving the freedoms that make our commonwealth strong.”

The Family Foundation describes the scorecard as a tool for both education and accountability, aiming to give voters a clear view of their representatives’ stances on family-related issues.

“Boswell earned the honor of Kentucky Family Champion by advocating for values that strengthen families and protect the most vulnerable,” the release says. “His recognition reflects a commitment to moral leadership and thoughtful representation of his constituents’ deeply held beliefs.”
