Deloris Lee Hill Hardin, age 80, passed away June 12, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her at her residence in Kingswood, KY. She was born in Bonnieville, KY on July 6, 1944. Deloris retired from the United States Postal Service after many years as a postal clerk. She and her husband Larry were supporters of Kingswood Wesleyan Church and the Crusade for Children. Deloris enjoyed reading, fishing, flea markets, the peddler’s mall and shopping and collecting antiques. She loved her family and big extended family. Large family gatherings filled with lots of food, laughter, love and fun with her husband, children, mother, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws and all the nieces, nephews, their families and friends from her community was her favorite time.
She is preceded in death by her father John W. Hill and her brother Wayne Hill.
Deloris is survived by her husband Larry Hardin of Kingswood, KY
2 daughters: Larissa Ann Moore (Jason) of Kingswood, KY and Kayla Sue Howell (Todd) of Irvington, KY
4 grandchildren: Casey Drane, William Epley, Leanna Epley and Meghan Jo Howell
3 great grandchildren: Brantley, Brenna and Jeffrey Wilkins
Her mother: Thelma Henrietta Hill of Harned, KY
Brother: Darvin Hill (Helen) of Shepherdsville, KY
Sister: Lisa Carman (Don) of Locust Hill, KY
Many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2 PM with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, 10 AM – 2 PM. All times are central.
