Jo Nell Carman Sebastian, age 64, passed away June 14, 2025, at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on November 16, 1960, daughter of the late Coleman “Mose” and Juanita Carman. She retired from Lincoln Trail District Health Department where she was a Family Support Specialist. Jo Nell had such a fun and loving spirit. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed sitting on the back porch with her husband, going places and spending time with her family. Family meant the world to her and so did her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law Linda Sebastian and three brothers-in-law David, Randel and George Sebastian.
Jo Nell is survived by Dwight, her husband of 35 years.

Stepchildren: Leslie Sebastian, Jr. (Tina) of Hardinsburg, KY and April McStoots (David) of Caneyville, KY
Grandchildren: Owen and Maddison Bland, Leslie Sebastian, Jr. and Gracie McStoots
Sisters: Terrie Fentress (Greg) and Bobbie Day of Hardinsburg, KY
Many nephews, cousins and their families.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11 AM with burial in the Locust Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4 – 8 PM and after 8 AM on Friday.
