Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is launching a three-week fast-track Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program this summer, providing a quick path into the healthcare field.
The training, which runs from July 7 to July 23, will provide participants with hands-on experience through HealthForce Kentucky’s state-of-the-art mobile training unit.
The program is designed for staff members of long-term care facilities, students planning to enter nursing programs, or anyone looking to start a career in healthcare.
Classes will be held July 7-9 and July 14-16 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with clinicals scheduled for July 21-22 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students will take the state licensing exam on July 29.
