This is a paid release.

Hot off participating in the highly successful BBQ & Barrels Festival, Larrikin Bourbon Co. is raising a glass after taking home some serious hardware at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, one of the most respected spirits contests in the world.

The spotlight shone brightest on Larrikin’s Bottled in Bond Bourbon, which earned a coveted Double Gold Medal—awarded when every judge awards 94+ point.

But the winning didn’t stop there.

All four of Larrikin’s entries earned accolades—proof that this veteran-distilled and veteran owned distillery is on a roll. The High Wheat Single Barrel Rye was awarded a Gold Medal with 92 points, while the Deep Purple Single Barrel Bourbon, a limited release, picked up a Silver Medal.

“We’re absolutely bloody chuffed,” said Greg Keeley, Distiller and Founder of Larrikin Bourbon Co. “We started this whole thing to make bourbon we wanted to drink—and it’s wild to see that strike a chord on the world stage.”

Not to be outdone, Larrikin’s first-ever white spirit, Fat Wombat Kentucky Gin, came out swinging—snagging a Gold Medal and a 94-point score. Not bad for a gin rookie making its debut on the world stage.

“We didn’t set out to make gin—we just figured if we were going to do it, we’d do it our way. Turns out the judges like a bit of mischief in their martinis,” said Greg.

From small-batch bourbons to bold new gins, Larrikin Bourbon Co. continues to embody an adventurous, no-nonsense spirit, by embracing Kentucky traditions and Australian irreverence.
