The Women’s Guild of Owensboro is now accepting applications from local nonprofits seeking funding for projects that serve women, children, or address health-related causes in the Owensboro area.

A total of $26,500 will be awarded through this year’s grant cycle. Applications are due by August 22, and recipients will be announced in September.

“Next spring will mark our 85th annual Women’s Guild Luncheon, a beloved tradition that reflects generations of giving,” said Guild President Emmy Woosley. “Each year, we use the proceeds from the luncheon to support local nonprofits, and we’re thrilled to continue that legacy by awarding $26,500 to organizations working to improve the lives of women, children, and families in Owensboro and Daviess County.”

Nonprofits interested in applying may request an application by emailing [email protected].

Funding proposals should outline the project’s purpose, timeline, intended impact, and budget. While the application is brief, the Guild encourages organizations to provide enough detail to convey the scope and significance of the work. Projects with a direct benefit to women, children, or health initiatives will be given priority.
