Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari is launching a new festival next month that promises to bring bold flavors and creative cuisine to the theme park experience.
The Summer Wine’d Down Culinary Festival will debut August 4 and run through September 13, offering parkgoers the chance to sample more than 30 original menu items available only during the event. The dishes will be featured at select restaurants across both Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari, each with suggested wine pairings served at separate locations throughout the park.
“Our industry-leading Food & Beverage team has put a lot of thought and creativity into this new lineup,” said President and CEO Matt Eckert. “I’ve tried a few of the new menu items and they’re truly outstanding. Families are going to love trying these exciting dishes from around the parks.”
Among the highlighted dishes are Honey Sesame Shrimp, Chicken & Waffle Biscuit with hot honey, Brisket Biscuit, and Star-Spangled Beignets. The full menu will be announced soon.
To help guests make the most of the experience, a Tasting Pass will be available for purchase both online and in the park. The pass allows guests to select five items from the event-exclusive menu and can be used in a single visit or spread out over multiple days during the festival.

The Summer Wine’d Down is one of several seasonal events on tap at the park. Holidays in the Sky continues nightly through August 3, followed by the return of Friday Night Live! from August 22 through October 24. Happy Halloween Weekends begin September 20 and run through October 26, with extended hours on October 11, 18, and 25. Splashin’ Safari closes for the season on September 13, while Holiday World remains open through November 2.
