Owensboro will once again become the center of laughter and color as it hosts the International Clown Conference from July 24-27. The private event will bring performers from five countries for workshops, performances, and local excursions.

“This annual gathering promotes professional development, cultural exchange, and good old-fashioned fun. While the event is private to registered attendees, locals and media may catch glimpses of costumed clowns bringing spontaneous smiles across the city,” said Conference Organizer Margaret Bedilion.

Attendees will take part in various activities, including a balloon jam, a performance titled “The Magic of Metalism: Spoon Bending, Twisting & Melting,” and group visits to local attractions such as the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden and the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

“We’re excited to welcome back this unique group. This event is a testament that Owensboro has become the home of an incredibly diverse range of events where both visitors and locals can join in on the fun,” said Teresa Jones with Visit Owensboro.

Local tickets are still available for $200. For more information, visit Universal Clown or contact Conference Organizer Margaret Bedilion at 513-532-7157.
