Jeffrey Dean Egbert, 54, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 27, 1971 in Owensboro to the late Kenneth and Barbara Parrott Egbert. Jeff was employed at Swedish Match and was the owner and operator of Kenny’s Barber Shop in Rockport, Indiana for 28 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Jeff was an outdoorsman, enjoying camping, fishing, boating, and motorcycle riding. He was a UK fan and loved getting together with his family.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Reeves Egbert; two sons, James Egbert (Sarah) and Jay Reeves (Rachael Travis); three grandchildren, Beau Michael Reeves, Kyle Dean Egbert, and Olivia Shea Egbert; brother, Scott Egbert (Sharon); sister-in-law, Michelle Payne (David); and two nephews, Cameron Egbert and Brody Egbert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
