Marlene Blanford, 87, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on July 28, 2025. She was born on September 4, 1937, to the late Sherman and Martine (Goetz) Bartley.
Marlene had a deep love for art and found joy and peace in doll-making, pouring her creativity and heart into every delicate creation.
In addition to her parents, Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blanford, her son, Jeffrey Blanford, and her brother, Daniel Bartley.
Those left to cherish Marlene’s memory include her children, Aaron (Pam) Blanford, Amy Blanford, and Jennifer Boarman; her grandchildren, Adrian Blanford, Caitlin Bowman, Eric Boarman, Jessica Boarman, and Randy Blanford; her great-grandchildren, Shiloh, Mary, and Archer; her siblings, Gary Bartley, Gerald Bartley, and Patty Wink, her best friend, Barbara, her cherished dog, Pistol, and her dear cat, Kiki.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
