Glenn Funeral Home will be collecting supplies for OASIS of Owensboro this month during “Glenn’s Give & Go,” a community-focused event designed to quickly and easily support local nonprofit organizations.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 6, the community is invited to participate in a drive-thru donation event at the Glenn Funeral Home parking lot at 900 New Hartford Road. Simply pull up to the designated collection area, and an attendant will collect the donations.
For those unable to attend the event, donations can still be dropped off inside Glenn Funeral Home during regular business hours until August 13.
Items needed include:
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Body wash
• Lotion
• Toothpaste
• Hairbrushes
• Diapers (Size 4 and up)
• Baby wipes
• Children’s/Baby body wash and shampoo
• Panties (all sizes)
• Socks (children and adults)
“Please join us in supporting OASIS as they help women and their children escape the trauma and devastation of domestic violence,” Glenn officials said in a release.
