Rebecca “Becky” Monarch Brown, age 76 of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away August 12, 2025, at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on May 06, 1949, daughter of the late Emma Dee and George Monarch, Jr. She was a homemaker and a member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church.
Becky leaves a legacy of kindness, strength and unwavering faith. Her flower garden was her sanctuary where she found peace, beauty, and joy. More than anything, Becky adored her family and treasured her friendships.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, George “Gee” Monarch, III and son, John Gibson Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dwight Brown, two children Molly (Kelly) Wilson of Bowling Green, KY and Joe (Natasha) Brown of Hardinsburg, KY and four grandchildren Taylor Jo, Garrett, Audrey, and Gabe.
There will be a graveside memorial service at a later date.
