The 7th annual Car Show is set for Sept. 13 at Whitesville City Park, giving car enthusiasts an opportunity to showcase their vehicles and connect with others who share their passion.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features food, prizes, and trophies in several categories. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a $20 entry fee. Door prizes will be awarded hourly, and all food proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Event organizer Frankie Fulkerson said the show has become a highlight for the community.
“We’re excited to keep this tradition going in Whitesville,” Fulkerson said. “It’s a good opportunity for car enthusiasts to come together, swap stories, and enjoy a day surrounded by people who appreciate these classic and unique vehicles.”
Whitesville Mayor Patsy Mayfield said she looks forward to the show’s return each year.
“I’m always excited to see the car show come back to Whitesville City Park,” Mayfield said. “It’s a wonderful event that brings people together, and I love welcoming visitors to our community.”
Trophies will be awarded for Best Chevy (1999 and before, 2000 and later), Best Mopar (1999 and before, 2000 and later), Best Ford (1999 and before, 2000 and later), Best Corvette, Best Jeep, Best Rat Rod, Best of Show, and Top Ten overall.
