Sherry Lambert, 78, of Owensboro passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro on May 16, 1947.
Sherry was a 1965 graduate of Owensboro High School and a 1969 graduate of Western Kentucky University. She worked for over 40 years in Owensboro as a Psychotherapist providing mental health care to her community. In her retirement, she spent countless hours playing contract bridge and eventually earning the distinction of Life Master.
Sherry had a great desire to help others and offer her advice and expertise to all walks of life. However, there were none more important than her boys, her faith family at Christ Community Church, her bridge group, and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas H. Bader and Barbara Lawson Bader.
Survivors include her sons, Lawson (Shannon) Lambert of Bowling Green and Landon Lambert of Lexington; and a sister, Diane Maliszewski of San Diego, CA.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
