OWENSBORO, KY – Third Baptist Church invites the community to “Sewing Seeds of Peace: A Prayer Service” on Tuesday, September 23, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Third Baptist Church, 527 Allen Street.
At a time when the world often feels divided, this service will bring together voices from across Owensboro to pray and reflect on peace. Local faith leaders will offer prayers and reflections, weaving together themes of reconciliation, justice, and healing. The evening will be grounded in truth telling, confession, and hope, reminding us that peace is both a gift we receive and a calling we live out. Together, we will raise our voices in song and be blessed by special music offered from gifted local musicians.
All neighbors and friends are welcome to attend this sacred gathering of prayerful solidarity for peace in our community and throughout the world.
