Deborah Lynn Thompson, 64, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky at the Heartford House. Deborah was born on January 27, 1961 in Daviess County to the late Cecil and Norma Cox Embry. Deborah enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Atlas Sanders.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, William Thompson; daughter, Michaela Thompson; grandchildren, Marlee, Greyson, and Jasper Sanders; two brothers, David Embry (Dora) and Michael Embry; and several nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 6:00pm on Monday, September 22, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday at the funeral home.
