Wanda Jean Kennedy, age 83 of Harned, KY died September 20, 2025, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Breckinridge County on October 2, 1941, daughter of the late Levi and Pearl Vertrees Armes. Wanda was a homemaker and devoted caregiver to her daughters. She was devout in her faith, read her Bible daily and listened to church services on air when she was unable to attend in person. She loved the holiday season, shopping for her family and looking at Christmas decorations.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Charles Armes, Kenneth Armes and Emma Nottingham.
Wanda is survived by her daughters Rita, Kathy and Tammy Kennedy of Harned, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 1:30 PM with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM on Wednesday. All times are central.
