Shawn Ernestine Fancher, 42, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at her home. She was born October 19, 1982 in Owensboro to Charles E. Jones and Patricia Louise Stewart Jones. Shawn worked as the assistant manager at the Dollar Store. She loved to draw, write poems, and enjoyed family and people. Shawn had a good heart and will be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David Wayne Stewart.
She is survived by two sons, Wesley Ray Fancher and Russell Whitaker; grandson, Rusher Whitaker; her parents, Charles and Patricia Jones; brother, Brandon “T.F.” Stewart; sister, Jasmin Laverne Casey (Danny); brother, Charles E. Jones Jr. (Sarah); and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
