Marquetta ‘Marty’ Miller, 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1954 in Owensboro to the late Charles Sr. and Dorothy Simpson Miller. She was a member of Jewish Temple Adath Israel. Marty worked at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital as a surgical tech. She later became a travelling surgical tech where she retired.
In addition to her parents, Marty was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Frank.
Survivors include her brother, Charlie Miller (Brea); sister, Barbara Kee; step-brothers, Charles Miller and David Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and especially her fur baby, Katie Bell.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow the service at Green Brier Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
