Tyler Wayne Hamilton, 32, of Owensboro, KY passed away October 14, 2025. He was born and raised in Owensboro, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends who loved him deeply. Tyler was able to give the gift of life through organ donation helping at least 50 people.
Tyler had a heart that ran deep for the ones he loved. He cherished every moment spent with his son, his family, and his closest friends. He found peace and freedom riding his motorcycle, a passion that reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the open road.
Tyler is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph (Rita) Kempf; uncle, David Wallace; and niece, Emma Hamilton.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Tammy (Oren) Metts; father, Michael Hamilton; his son, Josiah Bryant; sisters, Morgan Horn, Shyanne (Natalie) Hoover, and Sierra Hamilton; brothers, Hunter Smiley, Zachary Gish, and Christopher Smith; bonus mom Tresa Hamilton; aunts, Terri (Louis) Payne, and Tracy Centeno; uncles, Bruce Hamilton and Gary (Emmy) Hamilton; nieces, Braylee Head and Brinleigh Head; nephews, Kamdyn Luttrell, Cayden Smith, and Colton Smith; paternal grandparents, David (Karen) Kellough; bonus grandmother, Charlene Damin, and several cousins.
Tyler will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty, and his ability to bring laughter and light to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of all that knew him.
Services will take place at noon on October 23, 2025, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Clinton Berry officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, and resume visitation on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 11:00 am until the time of service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
