Agnes E. Burdette, age 91 of Cloverport, KY passed away October 20, 2025, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Breckinridge County on December 17, 1933, daughter of the late Russell and Margaret Brown Huffines.
Agnes was an adult caregiver who enjoyed quilting, fishing and gatherings with her family. She attended Hardinsburg Baptist Church before her health declined.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond ‘Monk’ Burdette, sons Terry and Randy Burdette and siblings Mike, Anthony, Junior and Lois Huffines.
Agnes is survived by her daughter Patty Burdette of Cloverport, KY
2 grandchildren: Tracy Moore (Bill) and Jason Scott Brown
9 great grandchildren: Lucy, Tommy, Jackson, Conner, Bradley, Michael, Lucas, Russell and Patrick
5 great great grandchildren: Hayden, Andrew, Henry, Daniel and Peyton
3 brothers: Richard, Norman and Larry Huffines
Many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Cloverport Methodist Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 12 PM with visitation beginning t 10 AM. All times are central.
