Cynthia “Cindy” Mulligan Stallings, 67, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born August 6, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ross Clark Mulligan and Flora Jane Leach Mulligan. She retired from Truist Bank and also from Bellevue Baptist Church. Cindy enjoyed shopping at T.J. Maxx, sitting at the Ohio River, camping, reading, and being outdoors. She loved watching her hummingbirds and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Clark Bratcher; sister, Jennifer Elliott; and a brother, David Mulligan.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Marty Stallings; son, Matthew Stallings (Shayna); two daughters, Brittany Crabtree (Nathan) and Amber Harper (Jarrod); five grandchildren, Lincoln Harper, Evelyn Crabtree, Eli Crabtree, Issac Bratcher, and Devin Bratcher; two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
