George Edward Heaverin, age 83 of Cloverport, KY passed away October 25, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Grayson County, KY on June 1, 1942, son of the late Mary Willie Lush and Willie E. Heaverin. George was the former owner and operator of a repair and cleaning service. He was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge and Moose Legion.
He enjoyed karaoke with his friends, dancing, being outdoors, keeping his truck clean and anything he could tinker with.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Charles, Russell, Louise, Cora and Anna Mae.
George is survived by 3 sons – Kyle Heaverin of Cloverport, KY; Chris Heaverin of Florida and David Heaverin of Oklahoma
Sisters – Lin Gambrill Nellie Stevenson, Jean Simon and Rosie Higdon..
In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation was chosen with a private memorial to be held at a later date.
