Joseph Anthony Mincey, 61, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his home. He was born July 22, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Perry Edward Mincey and Virginia Mae Carter Mincey. Joey retired from Owensboro Public Schools where he worked as a custodian. He loved the Chicago Bears and UK basketball. He was a very loving father and grandparent.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Mincey.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Mincey (Jackie) and Joseph Mincey; daughter, Chasity Mincey; sister, Roberta Grider; and half-brother, Billy Carter.
A private burial will be held at later date in Resurrection Cemetery.
