Sandra Rone of Maceo, Kentucky passed away on October 24, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Sandy was born in Maceo, Kentucky on March 27, 1955 to the late Eva and Charles Cameron. She retired from Field’s Packing Company in 2015. Following her retirement she worked at Hillbilly’s Convenient store. Sandy “Grandmaw” enjoyed watching football, planting in her flower bed and sneaking off to the Casino.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Rone; three children, Tammy Pierce, Shelly Rone, and Jeremy Rone; grandchildren, Sandy Pierce, Kayla Bivins, Corey Miles, Cameron Taylor, and Skylar Rone; great-children, Mariah Pierce, Khloe Pierce, Camden Pierce, Carter Bivins and Carsyn (Lou-Lou) Bivins; and siblings, Eugene Cameron and Lisa Raley
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Sandy will be remembered for her strength, kindness and willingness to put others before herself. She will be greatly missed. Sandy is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. She was the heart of the family.
