Preservation Station Market and Event Center is kicking off the holiday shopping season with its annual Christmas Market this weekend, including a visit from Santa.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, featuring more than 100 vendors, live music, and holiday buffets at the on-site restaurant. Santa will visit both days from 12-2 p.m., greeting guests, handing out candy canes, and posing for photos throughout the building.

Located 10 miles west of Owensboro at 9661 KY 56, Preservation Station will be filled with antique, vintage, and handcrafted items — plus boutique and farmhouse décor, custom furniture, and unique gifts. Shoppers can browse everything from jams, soaps, and candles to salvaged barnwood and designer furniture.

Live music will fill the air throughout the weekend: David Rogers performs Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; GC Vincent takes the stage Saturday from 1:30-3:30 p.m.; and Bryce Blanford will play Sunday from 12-2 p.m.

Visitors can also enjoy special buffets at the Preservation Station Family Restaurant, with a Thanksgiving Holiday Buffet from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday and a brunch Buffet from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday. Buffet prices are $16.99 for adults and $7.99 for children ages 10 and under.

Admission to the market is free. For more information, visit visitpreservationstation.com or follow Preservation Station on Facebook.
