Janet Louise Limer, 75, of Calhoun, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 1, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1950, in Daviess County and was the beloved daughter of the late Eulice and Ruby Gaddis.
Janet was a kindhearted and compassionate woman whose gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a deep love for nature and found joy in the simple beauty of life, especially in the colorful flowers that filled her garden and the animals she cared for with such tenderness. Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and kindness. Family meant everything to Janet. She took great pride in her children and found her greatest joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary Moore, and brothers, Randy and Ricky Gaddis.
Those left to cherish her memories include her dear husband of 13 years, Freddie Limer; children, Janice (Homer) Barnett, John (Ginger) Moore, Jr., and Mary (Jeff) Wilson; siblings, Larry (Sharon) Gaddis, Sheila (Ricky) Floyd, Clifton (Peggy) Gaddis, Terry Gaddis, and Brenda Hulsey; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as family and friends.
