Gleneva Ruth “Glenda” Tucker, 84, of Owensboro, passed away on November 6, 2025 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born May 15, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late H.C. Lundy and Viola Mathis Lundy. Gleneva retired from Atmos Energy where she worked as a clerk and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, James A. Tucker; son, Robert Miller; and siblings, Mildred Lemons, Joyce Tucker, Hobert Lundy, Jennette Canada, Dorothy French, and Brenda Starr.
She is survived by her children, Timothy R. Miller (Linda), Russell Rudder (Bobbi), Jeff Tucker, Tonya Reynolds, and Robert Tucker (Brenda); eight grandchildren, Ciera Bratcher, Harley Glotzbach, Brennan Hatton, Landon Tucker, Dannetta Miller, Tim Miller Jr., Leah Miller, and Zach Miller; several step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Shaun Oaks
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
