Roy Lee Goatley, 75, of Hawesville, passed away on November 5, 2025, at his home. He was born in Breckenridge County on February 23, 1950, and was the beloved son to the late Raymond and Maxine Goatley.
Roy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing as often as he could. A devoted member of Landmark Bible Church for more than 25 years, he faithfully dedicated his time and talents to serving his church community. Roy loved God and lived his life guided by his faith and commitment to others.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy, Alvin, and Clarence Goatley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Gloria Goatley; children, Lee (Gina) Goatley, Jeremy Goatley, Brandon (Audrey) Goatley, and Kerri Goatley (Beau Puckett); brothers, Glenn and Wayne Goatley; sisters, Mary (Tandy) Blair, Anna (Dave) Thompson, and Lorretta (Dave) Adkins; grandchildren, Dylan, Victoria, Madison, Tyler, Cordelia, Isaiah, and Lily; two great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service to honor Roy’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday November 16, 2025, at Landmark Bible Church, 66 47635, 1124 IN-66, Rockport, IN 47635.
