Frances Louise Davis “Sister Vincent Mary”, 91, of Owensboro, passed away on November 15, 2025. She was born on June 3, 1934, to the late Edgar Vincent and Mary Eliza (Fenwick) Pryor.
Frances was a devoted teacher and administrator with the Ursuline Sisters at Mount Saint Joseph Academy. She was a proud graduate of Brescia University and Western Kentucky University, and a longtime member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Frances had a beautiful, gentle soul and a deep love for music, especially when playing the guitar, violin, and piano. She cherished teaching and had a special gift for working with children, touching countless lives with her kindness, patience, and unwavering compassion.
Along with her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Davis, and her siblings, Teresa Easton, Joseph Carl Pryor, and Imogene Brand.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Helen Locher and Patricia (Dave) Sweeney, and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Carmel Home, with Father Ray Clark officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Carmel Home, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
