William Ernest Dean, age 90 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away December 3, 2025, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in McQuady, KY on November 30, 1935, son of the late Ben and Eleanor Squires Dean. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Corinth Baptist Church and retired from Commonwealth Aluminum. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved caring for his dog Blue.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Imogene Atwood Dean, brother Thomas F. Dean and brothers and sisters-in-law: Doris Berry, Clyde Atwood, Sr., Carl Atwood, Jr. and Linda Atwood.
William is survived by his sister: Linda Basham (Kenny) of McQuady, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1 PM with burial in the Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, 10 AM – 1PM.
