Trinity (Whitesville) took down Hancock County, while Daviess County cruised past Breckinridge County. In other action, Owensboro dropped a heartbreaker at home.

Daviess County 74, Breckinridge County 33

Jonathan Moss took over in the second quarter, scoring 14 of his game-high 25 points to power the Panthers past Breckinridge County 74-33. The senior also added seven assists, five steals, and three rebounds, while Michael Acton finished with 21 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. DeAaron Watkins and Davyn Randolph both hit a pair of threes to go along with their 12 points.

Hopkinsville 46, Owensboro 45

Trailing by four entering the fourth quarter, Owensboro cut the lead to one, but was unable to complete the comeback, falling to Hopkinsville 46-45. Valor Smith led the way with 11 points, and Zayden Baker scored six of his 10 points in the second half. Tre Shemwell and DaMarcus Ganaway Jr. both had six points, and Kade Arnold and Jamil Waddy both finished with five points.

Trinity (Whitesville) 50, Hancock County 48

Harrison Barnett scored eight of his team-high 14 points in the second half, as the Raiders held off the Hornets 50-48. Cale Boarman finished with 10 points, and Grant Howard hit three threes. This marked the Raiders’ Head Coach Nathan West’s 100th win with the program.

For the Hornets, Keegan Wilson exploded for 17 points, and Seth Hunt scored nine of his 13 points in the fourth quarter. Mehkel London was third on the team in scoring with nine points.
