Bonnie B. Severs, age 75 of Garfield, KY passed away January 15, 2026, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on January 2, 1951, daughter of the late Arthur B. and Ruby Kinnerson Carman. Bonnie was a member of the Harned Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years, and she faithfully participated in the Crusade for Children roadblocks collecting donations for as many years. She retired from Walmart and finally had the free time to hunt, tend to her flowers, cook and watch all the Westerns she wanted. She loved her family and gatherings with them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepson Billy Severs.
Bonnie is survived by Bill, her husband of over 40 years.

Grandchildren: Ashley Wilson (Jeremy), Amber Hales (Dustin), Katie Newsome (Matt), Adam Fogle, Derek Sipes (Bethany), Teri Sandridge (Joey) and Dominick Sipes
Great grandchildren: Abby Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Kaden Hales, Jase Hales, Aubrey Hales and a Baby Boy Newsome due in a few months.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 1 PM with burial in the Union Star Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Monday.
