Windy Hollow Speedway celebrated the 2025 racing season over the weekend with its annual awards banquet, recognizing drivers, sponsors, fans, and staff for their contributions throughout the year.
The banquet hall was filled with competitors and supporters as season champions and top finishers were honored across multiple divisions. To be eligible for recognition, drivers were required to compete in at least 75% of the season’s events.
In the Mini Stocks division, Jared Ball claimed the championship, followed by Charlie Ashby in second, Travis McDaniel in third, Maddex Fulkerson in fourth, and Zach Witt in fifth.
Camden Rudd earned the Bomber division title, with Waymon Bratcher finishing second.
Kyle Lambert captured the Crown Vic Oval championship, with Mark Van Winkle placing second, Morgan Vanover third, Ray Weston fourth and Noah Wedding fifth.
The Economies division championship went to Morgan Vanover, followed by Deshaun Hagan in second, Mark Van Winkle in third, and Laurrainn Simmons in fourth.
In the 602/604 Crate Late Models division, Zach Dennis took the championship, with Justin Naylor finishing second.
James Embry claimed the Rusty Bolt title, followed by James Dale Embry in second, David Shock in third, and Colin Boone in fourth.
Matt Kelley earned the CRUSA Street Stock championship, with Steve Harrison placing second, Chris Shelton third, and Corey Kellems fourth.
Windy Hollow Speedway also presented specialty awards for the season. Kyle Lambert and Colin Boone were named Rookies of the Year. Charlie Ashby received Most Improved Driver of the Year honors, and Zach Witt was named Sportsman of the Year.
“We were faced with a lot of adversity at the beginning of 2025,” said track promoter Trevor Hutchins. “We had a lot of rain, which led to canceled events, and a track that we weren’t happy with. We couldn’t have had a successful season without everyone in this room. It’s greatly appreciated.”
Windy Hollow Speedway will kick off the 2026 season with an open practice session on March 27.
