This week’s Friday After 5 promises a high-energy evening of music, community fun, and a spotlight on the City of Owensboro. Nashville-based Bonepony will take over the Main Stage with their signature blend of electrified blues, soulful rock, and outlaw country.

The Kroger Street Fair kicks off at 5 p.m., followed by live music starting at 6 p.m. on the Overlook Stage with the Barrett Band. Bonepony takes the stage at 7 p.m.

Bonepony has played nearly 4,000 shows since their debut release on Capitol Records in 1995. They’ve shared stages with legends like Bob Seger, ZZ Top, Santana, and Brandi Carlile, and have performed on a dozen rock festival cruises.

In addition to live music, it’s “City Night” at FA5. The City of Owensboro will be on site with free T-shirts and giveaways while supplies last. Kids can enter to win a custom street sign featuring their name, hop inside a trash truck, and meet representatives from Public Works, the Owensboro Police and Fire Departments, Parks and Recreation, and the Neighborhood Alliance.

All events are free and open to the public.
