Popular children’s character Blippi will bring his new Join the Band Tour to the RiverPark Center on November 20, with a live show that promises music, dancing, and interactive fun for families.
Presented by Round Room Live and Moonbug Entertainment, the production features live musicians on stage along with Blippi, Meekah, and their singing and dancing friends. For the live tour, the characters Blippi and Meekah will be portrayed by professional stage performers selected specifically for the production.
The show is designed to explore the sounds, rhythms, and instruments that make up music, using Blippi’s signature blend of energy and education.
“We are turning it up to 11 with the Blippi: Join the Band Tour this spring,” said Stephen Shaw, founder and co-president of Round Room Live. “Blippi is a rockstar for today’s kids … a brand-new show that amps up the excitement to an even higher volume with a live band onstage was the next logical step.”
The RiverPark show will begin at 6 p.m. on November 20. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and at the RiverPark Center Box Office, which is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prices range from $32.60 to $74.25, not including taxes.
