There will soon be another option in Owensboro for coffee enthusiasts, as 7 Brew Coffee’s new drive-thru stand was installed Friday.

After several weeks of groundwork, the main structure was delivered Friday on flatbed trucks and installed on site at 4930 Frederica Street. While the building was constructed primarily off-site, the major pieces were assembled Friday in front of the former Towne Square Mall property. It sits next to Take 5 Express Oil Change.

Company officials could not be reached for an update Friday afternoon, but a sign on the front of the property indicates they are hiring. Brandon Sebald, owner of 7 Brew Owensboro, previously said the stand will employ more than 50 “brew crew” members.

“The state of Kentucky has been so welcoming to 7 Brew in various cities from Louisville to Bowling Green,” Sebald previously said in a statement via email. “Owensboro was a great fit as it’s an actively growing city with both locals and those traveling through needing a convenient place to grab their morning or afternoon energy boost.”

Sebald also previously said the company hopes to build connections with local colleges, including Brescia University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro Community and Technical College, and WKU Owensboro.

Founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, 7 Brew has grown rapidly with its vibrant atmosphere, customizable drinks, and focus on fast, friendly service. In addition to coffee, the menu includes teas, energy drinks, flavored sodas, and a variety of sugar-free and dairy-free options.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. Learn more the company at 7brew.com.
