A new destination for self-care has opened its doors in Owensboro and is already making waves. McKayla Nails and Spa has been welcoming customers for a few weeks, and manager Tom Phan says the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.
“They love it,” Phan said. “People have been really excited that we’re open. They were looking for something fresh — a new atmosphere — and that’s exactly what we’re offering here.”
Located at 2876 Heartland Crossing Boulevard, Suite B, Open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the spa offers a wide variety of services for those looking to pamper themselves. Options include pedicure treatments ranging from $41 to $91 and a full menu of artificial nail applications, from hard gel and tap gel to dip and color powder.
“We likely have one of the largest selections of nail supplies you’ll find, maybe even in the entire state,” Phan said. “And our prices remain very competitive.”
Beyond its services, Phan said what truly sets McKayla Nails apart is its atmosphere.
“It’s cozy, comfortable, and spacious,” Phan said. “The design is luxurious, and we offer a wide variety of products that customers can browse and choose from as soon as they walk in. We also offer birthday specials and have gift certificates available.”
The salon stands behind the quality of its services with a satisfaction guarantee.
“We take pride in our work and fully stand by it,” Phan said. “Making sure our clients are happy is very important to us.”
While walk-ins are welcome, Phan said many clients choose to book appointments online. The business is active on Google and Facebook, where customers can find more information or schedule a visit.
Phan hopes the new salon becomes a long-term staple in the community.
“We love serving the people of Owensboro — that’s why we chose this location,” Phan said. “Our goal is to offer a better atmosphere, a cleaner environment, and higher-quality products. Everything we use here is top-notch.”
