Glenn Funeral Home will host its 12th Glenn’s Give & Go event in October, collecting donations to benefit Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky (SparKY).
The drive-thru event will take place on October 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home parking lot at 900 New Hartford Road. Attendants will gather items directly from vehicles, allowing donors to remain inside their cars.
For those unable to attend, donations can be dropped off inside Glenn Funeral Home during regular business hours through October 8.
Requested items include puppy chow, dog chow, cat chow, kitten chow, canned cat and kitten food, pine litter, paper towels, regular litter, industrial trash bags, bleach, and Odoban.
SparKY works to reduce euthanasia rates of cats and dogs in local shelters, while also promoting spay-and-neuter education and adoption across Kentucky. More information about the organization is available at sparkyrescue.com.
