Preservation Station Market & Event Center is inviting the community to its annual Fall Market this weekend, offering two days of shopping, live music, and Southern cooking.
The event runs September 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at 9661 KY 56.
The market will feature more than 75 vendors from three states, filling over 40,000 square feet inside the restored former elementary school. Shoppers can browse antiques, furniture, home decor, boutique clothing, handcrafted goods, seasonal fall and holiday decorations, books, jewelry, children’s items, baked goods, plants, and rustic wood art, along with dozens of other unique offerings.
Preservation Station’s Family Restaurant will be open both days, serving a buffet and daily specials that organizers say make the event a full-day trip destination.
Live music will add to the festive atmosphere, with Shrimp and Grits performing from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Paul Montgomery taking the stage at the same time Sunday.
The event is free and open to the public.
Preservation Station has grown into one of Owensboro’s most unique shopping and dining venues, housing a wide range of permanent and seasonal vendors while offering Southern-style meals in its restaurant. The Fall Market is one of its biggest events each year, marking the start of the autumn shopping season.
