Local band Sons of Habit has been announced as direct support for Ole 60’s New Year’s Eve concert celebration at the Owensboro Sportscenter. The December 31 show marks the final stop of Ole 60’s 2025 U.S. tour, with organizers promising a night of live music, surprises, and a midnight countdown to 2026.
The event is presented by The Eric Group, and tickets are already 75% sold out. Seats can be purchased at OLE60NYE.com, with prices starting at $25.60. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.
“This is going to be an absolutely electric night,” said Heath Eric, CEO of The Eric Group. “Sons of Habit are one of the most exciting young bands to emerge from Kentucky in years, and we’re thrilled to have them join OLE 60 for this New Year’s Eve celebration. Their energy, authenticity, and connection with fans make them a perfect fit for this show. … The anticipation is through the roof.”
Sons of Habit takes its name from the trailer in Habit, where lead singer Mitchell Douglas began making music with writing partner Hagan Edge. They were later joined by Dalton Daniels, Jeffrey Parish, and Noah Patrick.
Their debut single, “Madeline,” released in July 2024, earned millions of streams and led to performances across the country, including shows with OLE 60 and Shane Smith & The Saints. Their first project, Nostalgia, includes five new songs co-written by Douglas and Edge and produced by Justin Eckerd.
