Founder Lance Embry opened the doors of Lance & Co. in October 2008, building on a career that spans more than 47 years in the jewelry industry. Starting as a jeweler’s apprentice, Embry refined his craft over decades to become a recognized Master Jeweler.
He said he still finds joy in every part of the process, whether restoring a family heirloom or designing a one-of-a-kind piece from scratch.
Embry’s daughter, Mandy Collins, joined the business as a partner in 2021. With 26 years of her own experience in the jewelry industry, she has helped continue the store’s commitment to quality and customer care.
“My true passion lies in helping customers find the perfect piece for every occasion,” Collins said. “We don’t just sell jewelry; we forge deep connections and ensure their shopping journey is as special as the jewelry they choose.”
The family-run business has grown into a team with distinct roles and creative energy. Kyndall manages custom design and inventory control, helping customers bring ideas to life. Lexie, a jeweler’s apprentice under Embry’s mentorship, continues to expand her skills. Kathryn, the marketing creation leader and sales associate, helps curate gift selections, while Emily, the newest team member, focuses on personal shopping experiences.
Lance & Co. Jewelers offers a wide range of services, including jewelry repair and restoration, pearl and bead restringing, engraving, watch battery replacement, appraisals, and custom design work.
For the Embry family and their team, jewelry represents more than just adornment — it symbolizes life’s memories and milestones.
