Wendell Foster has opened its annual Angel Tree, inviting the community to help make Christmas brighter for individuals in the organization’s residential and outpatient programs.
The tradition, launched in 2017, provides gifts to dozens of people who might otherwise go without during the holiday season.
Participants are asked to select an ornament from the Angel Tree, sign it out, purchase new unwrapped gifts, and return them with the original tag attached. Monetary donations are also accepted for those who prefer not to shop.
Ornaments can be picked up in the lobby of the Elmer Administration Building on Wendell Foster’s campus at 815 Triplett Street. The building is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All gifts must be returned unwrapped to the same location by December 15.
