Real Hacienda on Frederica Street is launching a new Sunrise Breakfast Buffet starting December 20, featuring a full spread of both classic American breakfast staples and bold Mexican flavors.

The grand opening weekend will feature special pricing and a visit from Santa Claus. On December 20, the buffet will cost $5 per person, and kids 8 and under eat free. On December 21, regular buffet pricing begins at $10.95 for adults and $6.95 for children 10 and under. Santa will be on-site on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The buffet will be available weekly on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We’ve been wanting to offer Mexican breakfast for a long time, and we also saw a great opportunity to bring a traditional breakfast buffet to our side of town,” said owner Oralis Radilla. “With long wait times at other local breakfast spots, we felt it was the perfect time to step in and provide another option—especially since our large dining room allows us to welcome more guests comfortably.”

The Sunrise Breakfast Buffet will include traditional offerings like eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, alongside Mexican dishes such as chorizo eggs, rice, beans, chips, salsa verde, and ranchero sauce.

“You’ll have everything you need to create your own breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and so much more,” Radilla said.

The Frederica location recently underwent a small remodel in preparation for the buffet, including new equipment installations. While breakfast will initially be exclusive to that location, Radilla said expansion is possible.

“If it’s a success, we’ll definitely look into the possibility of expanding it to one of our other locations,” she said.

Radilla added that her team previously offered breakfast at Don Mario’s at Windridge, but weather-related challenges last summer forced a pause.

“Delicious mornings are on the way,” Radilla said.
