Country music legend Hank Williams Jr. will return to Beaver Dam Amphitheater on May 29. Organizers said Williams previously set a venue record with the fastest sellout in Beaver Dam Amphitheater history when he last performed there in 2022.
The one-night-only performance is part of the First United Bank & Trust Concert Series and will begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets will go on presale Jan. 28 at 9 a.m. CT for those who sign up for the presale password at BeaverDamAmp.com. Public sales open Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. local time.
“This is a point of pride for our city,” said Beaver Dam Mayor Paul Sandefur. “From the quality of the venue and the professionalism of the team that operates it to the hospitality of our residents and partners — concerts like this showcase Beaver Dam on a national stage, and the positive economic and community impact is felt well beyond the city limits.”
Heath Eric, President and CEO of The Eric Group, said Williams’ return validates the work that’s gone into making The DAM a destination for nationally touring artists.
“Hank is a true American icon, and his 2022 sellout at The DAM was a defining moment for this venue,” Eric said. “His return reinforces the credibility we have built not just with fans, but also with artists, agents, and managers across the industry.”
A release said that with more than 70 million albums sold, Williams is one of country music’s most successful performers.
“His 2022 album Rich White Honky Blues debuted at No. 1 on four separate Billboard charts and was produced by GRAMMY Award winner Dan Auerbach,” the release said. “He has earned multiple Entertainer of the Year honors, a GRAMMY Award, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.”
Hotel and shuttle packages will also be available. A special guest for the concert will be announced at a later date.
