Theatre Workshop of Owensboro will host an adult acting workshop on February 28, offering an introduction to stage performance for anyone interested in the theatre arts.
The two-hour workshop will be led by Elliott Talkington, who brings experience from professional theatre as both an actor and producer. The session will focus on core performance skills, including script analysis, stage presence, and character development, with an emphasis on helping participants perform with confidence.
According to the organization, attendees will leave with practical tools designed to support auditions, callbacks, and live performances by creating grounded and memorable characters.
The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Empress Theatre, 418 Frederica Street.
